The first thing you need to know is that I have three loves in life. Crocheting, teapots and utterly bizarre dresses. When I’m not squirrelled away with my extensive yarn stash, biscuits, and a good cup of tea, you’ll likely find me in the beer garden seeking out fresh material for my stand up comedy routine.
As you may have gleaned from the photos, I'm a MASSIVE nerd. My friends and I have been playing Dungeons & Dragons together for over 5 years now, and my Circle of Spores Druid Minnie (full name Amanita Minnis) makes up 90% of my personality. My girlfriend and I love dressing up as our favourite characters at Comic-Cons, Halloween parties, or just while we go about our daily business... any excuse really!
It was while touring the country I realised that I felt right at home on stage, and that nothing is more fulfilling for me than bringing joy to as many people as possible. My good friend, excellent Wedding Photographer (and now "Work Wifey") Gabriela Dickinson was the first person to tell me about Wedding Celebrants. I believe her exact words were "I've found the perfect job for you."
So from there I hatched a plan, and the rest is history…
